Can anybody help me on number 5 on page 169 of the Barrons? I have no idea how to do standard deviation. Somebody so kind please walk me through the problem!

The short answer is that fewer data values have a higher z-score. School C, with a mean of 515, a standard deviation of 22, and a single score of 561 has the fewest data values of the schools listed in the answers. Look back at Example 4 on page 166 for more detail.

Thanks that helped!
