I'm taking Math II in june. I have Kaplan, and a Mcgraw hill book (friend's copy). I will also do sparknotes, and the tests from CB.

What books do you recommend? What kind of studying do you recommend? I finished precalc, and want a SOLID 100% chance of a 5, for I will retake if I get a 790, and I'm taking SAT1's in october.

Which is the “barrons” that everyone is using? I can’t find it. Is it this? [Amazon.com: Barron’s How to Prepare for Sat II: Math Level IIC (6th ed) (9780764104626): Howard P. Dodge: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-How-Prepare-Sat-II/dp/0764104624)

I saw another version that has a red cover and a dude with glasses studying.

Is the 2008 the latest one? I guess it doesn’t matter but… you know… lol

practice test wise, kaplan and mcgraw hill were my two favorite followed by princeton review. i feel barrons was a waste of my money even though people say they ‘do well after using it because it’s so hard it makes the test look easy’ but many of these people don’t get 800s. My philosophy is that if it’s so hard that it’s difficult to practice with, then don’t use it. If you want pure material, barron’s is actually pretty good but i would stick with kaplan and mcgraw hill.

I want good content review and good tests. I share your philosophy that harder tests don’t necessarily help you…

Is barrons worth it for content review? How is the mcgraw hill / kaplan content review?

Oh I meant 100% chance for an 800, not 5. lol AP madness…

I used Princeton Review and they were pretty good – reviewed essential math concepts, had practice problems at the end of each section. My only problem with the book was that there were only 2 Math Level II practice tests (since the other 2 were for Math I).

how many released math II tests are there?
