How important is taking the Math II test for someone who wants to major in Biology? I know some schools have certain requirements, but do each school have preferences to certain subject tests for each of their majors?

Math II is one of the easier (perhaps even the easiest) subject test to get an 800 in, so if you believe yourself to be strong in math up through trig, precal, limits, and you’re willing to learn a few more esoteric topics from prep books (polar coordinates, imaginary graphs, etc), then I’d go ahead and take it.

Usually if you’re not an engineering major, schools really don’t care which subject tests you take. If you are going into engineering, then it’s usually a math + a physical science.

thanks! i’m signed up for math… but i haven’t started preparing at all, so i’m thinking of doing math and spanish on saturday, because i just basically need another subject area (all i’ve taken are bio and chem
