Hey I've done some research about the SAT Math IIC prep books.

Here's what I've found for IIC:

College Board is releasing a book on August 8th (will it be good?)
PR is good, but is sloppy in displaying material
Barron's is overall very good, only because it's harder than the test.
Kaplan's is good, but it has major errors.

No idea. I have mcgraw-hill's and it seems okay but it has a LOT of errors in the practice tests..like, missing conditions or missing equations rendering the questions useless. XD

I'm not sure about Kaplan's yet when I try it out I'll let you know. As for PR's, I have no clue.

Does anyone happen to have any past exam papers for math IIc? My hs library was supposed to have it but it wasn't there when I went..probably lost.

Kaplan's has errors? What kind of errors? Math mistakes? If so...uh, give it a miss.

CB's book probably won't have as much info explicitly about the structure and format of the test like third-party books will. It'll probably concentrate on the material, not test-taking techniques (since CB wants to promote the idea that the test measures knowledge of math and nothing more).

Barrons is only good if you're studying a long time before the test. I crammed studied with Barrons, canceled score because I didnt do too well. Barrons had so much stuff that I was freaking out about and wasting time studying that did not even appear on the test.

What I think is that the CB book will be as valuable as their SAT Book. The strategies aren't much (read the directions and choose the best answer? What kind of strategy is that?), but the practice tests are the most valuable resource from that book.

I have the old SAT Subject Test book from CB, but it's only one test.

tubaman93 do you think I could get a copy of your old SAT subject test? Any copy is fine with me because I just want to see where I stand with an actual test set by collegeboard.
