Math in Duke of U of Waterloo

<p>i'm an international std and i want 2 major in math.
Duke is a gr8 school and i love Duke and it got great basketball there. But im a girl, so dont know if basketball means that much 2 me. And i heard the security is not so good in Durham.</p>

<p>Anyone know U of Waterloo? it's in Ontario, Canada. I heard it has one of the finest math faculty in North America.it has co-op program which std have their intern in their school days as part of the degree. it's cheaper and it give me $2000 scholarship.</p>

<p>I've always love Duke, but all these rly make me hesitate. So can anyone know either school well give me some advice?

<p>Duke, No question. I can think of At least 3 schools in Ontario better than Waterloo(Toronto, Queens, Western), Duke competes academically with the likes of Toronto or UBC. Also there are so many other students, I don’t think security should be a deciding factor. if you keep safe, others will get mugged; always travel in groups at night. You will make friends, so this should be easy.</p>

<p>and girls like basketball, just saying.</p>
