I am relatively new to the world of SAT II's (incoming sophomore) and was wondering if a good score on the Math I SAT II would strengthen my application. I have not taken Pre-Calculus yet.

I plan on taking Math II at the end of sophomore year after I have taken Pre-Calculus. Since I am already taking Bio M this October, is it worth it to take Math I as well?

no dont. It is a waste of money and time to take Math I if u r gonna take Math II. In fact, many colleges do not like the math I and prefer the Math II. And the Biology M test is really easy (got a 780). Have u taken the AP course for bio? If not, it will be quite difficult.

I have taken a pretty in-depth course of Biology, not at an AP level.

I am planning on studying over the summer.

When addressing the price of subject tests, don’t we have to pay a set fee, that covers 3 tests regardless of how many you actually take? Or do you have to pay a certain fee per test?

I am pretty sure u pay a set price and then pay extra for extra tests. Check on college board for that one.
But, what is the rush? If u are a rising sophomore u dont need to take the SAT IIs now. Wait until u have AP courses under the belt. Then the SAT IIs will be a piece of cake. There is no point in taking these tests and then getting in the 500s or 600s. In order for these tests to help ur applications, u must get in the 700-800 range. And APs, again, will REALLY help u

Ok, thanks for the info man

no problem. Good luck!
