Do I need a graphing calculator (TI-83, ect...) for the SAT MATH LEVEL II?

I have been prepping for it (BARRONS), but I seem to be struggling with the questions because most answer explanations refer to a graphing calculator. I wish it showed me how to do it by hand... /:

To anyone who took (or will take) the MATH LEVEL II test, what do you recommend?

I recommend using Princeton. I found that Kaplan and Barrons were a lot harder than the real test. McGraw is much easier than the real test. I also recommend using SAT II Math for Dummies, which is really similar to the book by the College Board. Princeton has a whole chapter dedicated to using the graphing calculator. I recommend you do a lot of practice. When I first started out I got in the low 700s or high 600s and I always had time issues. But the more practice I did the faster I got at the problems since they’re basically all the same concepts once you get the hang of it, and my score increased by a lot. I got an 800 on the real test. I hope this helps and good luck!

AWESOME! THANKS A MUCHOOOOO!
BTW, Barrons does have some questions that throw me off.
Did you use a graphing calculator?

Yep I used a graphing calculator. It’s much faster with one. It’s okay, don’t worry about those questions in Barrons. Some of them are really hard and aren’t even on the test.
