<p>Are there any math majors here on CC that attend Cal? If so, how is it?</p>
<p>I would say it’s pretty epic. It really depends on whether you are self-motivated or just wants other people to tell you what to study and etc. If you’re the former, then it’s terrific. Having a big department and a nice library really pays off when you are trying to find a niche in a subject area you want to focus on. If you’re the latter, you won’t get much out of it. I suggest you avoid lower division classes by taking them in a community college. Not many professors like teaching lower-divs so they tend to suck big time.</p>

<p>Ya, I have taken Linear Algebra and am finishing Differential Equations, Multivariable Calculus, and Discrete Math this year as a senior.</p>
