Math Placement Question

If we don't have credit from either AP Calculus AB or BC, could we still take a placement exam during the orientation week to get credit for both Math 3 and Math 8, which is what a student gets if he/she passes AP Calc BC with a 4 or 5?

The thing is that I have taken all the way through multivariable calculus at the local community college, but Dartmouth doesn't take credit from that. If I don't have AP credits for these Calc classes may I still take the placement exam? I am fairly sure I have the ability required to go into whatever is next beyond Math 8 (or at least I want to give it a try), but I just probably won't have the AP credits for it. I know in my circumstance I could take the one to get credit for Math 3 but could I do one for Math 8 as well?

Thanks!

I’m pretty sure you can take credit tests for Math 3, Math 8, and Math 13 during orientation.

Thanks! 10char
