In the three digit number ABC, A, B, C each represent a different digit. If C = B +4, and A = 2C, what is the value of ABC?

not enough information to solve. fail.

ABC

C=B+4
A=2C

I mean… I suppose it’s possible, assuming that you assume a LOT of stuff.

If B=0, then C=4, and A=8

So, ABC=804.

I like guessing :)

There’s enough information, and there is only one answer. The answer has to be a three digit number (you can’t pick decimals), and each digit has to be different.

If B was anything greater than 0, than it would be impossible to get a three digit number. For example, if you make B = 1, then C would be 5 and A would be 10, with the result 1015, definitely not a 3 digit number. If you make B = 2, then C would be 6 and A would be 12, making the result 1226, and so on.

ABC = 804
