Math retake?

When I first took the math placement test at my Community College, I got into Intermediate Algebra. I finished that and now I was taking pre-calculus in 2 parts, 1 part is College Algebra, the other part is Trigonometry. Its 2 different courses that make up this 1 class.

Now I have finished the 1st part, but now the 2nd part I dropped twice already. Now its Winter and I cannot take a 3rd repeat until its Spring. I want to get this class over with at another community college. Some nearby colleges have only the Pre-Calc class, which is both College Algebra and Trig Together. Since I did not get into that class in my community college, do you think if I take it at another community college, can I transfer it to mine? Would it count? Because currently at mine, I CANNOT take the pre-calc course as a WHOLE, only in 2 parts, because I didnt "score" into it from the beginning. This seems like a confusing question, please ask and I will try to explain more clearly.

Whether it counts or not should be of little concern. It sounds like you need the practice and the class can only benefit you.

Went to a counselor at another college and he said it would count. However, it turns out that at that other college (Los Angeles City Colelge) the system for math placement is completely different. There if I want to go into Pre-Calc, you have to pass Trig and Plane Geometry BEFORE you can take pre calc. Really different because my school is Intermediate Algebra and PreCalc right after. Anyway, thanks for answering. I am now going to take Trig over at Winter there.
