Well, I have not taken the SAT yet, and am planning to do so in May (I am a junior). I really need help however, in increasing my math SAT score to above 600, though preferably above 650 (since I'll most likely get >750 on the CR without studying, so a 650 will ensure a >1400 score). On the 2009 PSAT I got a 57 in math, not wonderful I know, but then math is not my strong suit. Basically I just need to get above 600 or 650, and have some 4 months to do so. I am taking a course starting in Feb, but does anybody have any tips? Also, please don't say a 650 sucks, just relay any tips you got (I would love to get a 700 or above, but thats not realistic for me).

i am told that you just need to practice a lot so that you are able to fly through the easy problems (while getting the right answer) and then you have more time for the harder ones. But after a while, people have told me, the questions become redundant and you eventually know how to do all of them

Go buy the BB2. Do all the math sections. Learn from your mistakes. Your score will rise definitely.

Btw Circular, there’s PLENTY of threads regarding math help. Maybe next time, don’t pressure everybody to help you out. Go out and do the work yourself. That’s a valuable lesson to learn.

Circular, you shouldn’t come into a forum, ask for a favor when all the information is presented right out in front of you (and don’t say you didn’t have time to search the forums -.-), and then whine when nobody answers it.

Sorry buddy. Calm down, I had to go somewhere soon and could not go through the posts. Besides, I wanted some more specific information. Also, it was a bit annoying when you make a thread about SAT help, similar to alot of threads, and some 15 hours later you have about 19 views.

And, BTW, if you want to play this game, being arrogant to people generally ticks them off (Maybe next time, don’t pressure everybody to help you out. Go out and do the work yourself. That’s a valuable lesson to learn.").
