Really good program. I have not attended it before, but I know a number of people who have been to COSMOS (UCD) and enjoyed it. It's a really good experience.

For anyone interested in astronomy/physics and the like but doesn't want to give up a huge part of their summer, the Astronomy Camps run by the University of Arizona are great fun.

The (MS)2 Math and Science for Minority Students program @ Phillips Academy is a good one, I've gone through it :)

Canada/USA Mathcamp was superb! http://www.mathcamp.org/ It's a great place to learn some math, and it's a great place to have some fun. They have tons of scheduled activities, both academic and non-academic, and it's a great environment. I would recommend it to anybody who's looking for a math summer program.

another vote for Mathcamp! Two of my students have been (one went for 5 years!) and had a fabulous experience. They are still in contact with friends from Mathcamp now that they are in college.
