I'm a freshman at Stanford, and my advisors were not definate on what math classes I need, so I thought I'd a new opinion

-I have AP credit for Calc AB
-I took Integral calculus/calc 2/rest of sing variable calc/whatever you want to call it, this first quarter
-I will take statistics in this winter quarter

My question is do I need to take multivariable calculus as well? Is 2 quarters of college math enough?

Take the easiest course that will get you the highest grade. Earning a high gpa is imperative if you want to get accepted into med school. The higher your gpa the higher your chances are.

I'm not sure Private_Joker is the one to give you advice, since in another post, it appears he or she is a high school freshman or sophomore, let alone if his/her post was useful. I think you should e-mail "bharat2007" or "PSedrishMD" - they're definitely two helpful guys on this board.

Future'MD, you don't have to belittle me like that. Yes, I am quite young but, I am well-read, also. What does my age have to do with the value of my opinion? Jlober was asking for an opinion. I gave him my opinion. Notice I didn't advise him on which course to take or what path to follow. All I was say was if you decide to continue in taking math, then take the course that is best for you. In this board, everyone has an opinion, yet you attack mine. I don't understand why you are so quick to offend my intelligence by disregarding my opinion.
