Maths improvements...

I was just wondering if people's scores jump up a lot in a very short space of time (for Maths).

When I first did some SAT math practice I scored high 600s then once I nailed the concepts down I was getting low 700s. I must have done 10 practice tests and I was still getting low 700s (down in the doldrums for CC). I did a practice test from college board online course and got a 740, then next test I got a 780 (thought it was a fluke). So, I did another one to see if I could be consistent and I got an 800. ***?!!? Why though??

Anyone else experienced this? Maybee the online course tests get progressivly easier? (although I doubt thats the reason)

Anyone???

THe online tests are very inaccurate. They tend to make the tests easier so you feel like they are doing their job.

the math section is very predictable and fairly manageable, and especially if your first few math scores are high 600s, I don’t see how it’s not possible to get 800 or close to it.

Greed is good: How do you know this? It doesn’t really make sense to me… why wouldn’t they just do the same with the college board official guide?
