So this question has really been bothering me...

I'm currently around 2 or 3 years younger than my fellow senior classmates, and my top school is Yale. I fit in (in my opinion) really well with my classmates, and my academic and social skills are up-to-speed (my opinion, again).

But I kept hearing, from a variety of people, that my age would be used against me in the adcoms, so I'm a little worried.

So do you guys think the adcom would be turned off by my age, or would they just overlook it?

It seems to me this is something a GC could address really well in his rec letter. Maybe you should drop him a big fat hint about this before he finishes your letter.

Not to belittle your feelings, but, so what? I think as long as you're qualified and you have the grades and everything..it shouldn't matter. Don't listen to what anyone else at school is saying.

I actually know i kid who went to Cornell and was 15 during his senior year of high school.

I'm sure you will be fine and I hope you get in.
