Maximum AP Credits Accepted at UCF

I have been accepted to UCF for the fall semester and will be a first-time college student (I'm currently a high school senior.) I took and passed a number of AP exams during high school; however, I know that UCF caps the number of credits you can carry over that are earned this way. If I pass all my exams this year, I'll be coming into my freshman year with 40 credits (which would make me listed as a Sophomore). The rub is that I can't find what UCF caps its "AP" credits at. I thought I heard that it was 30 credits, but when I tried to go online to confirm this I couldn't find anything for AP credits. Apparently the 30 credits has to do with the IB program, which I am not a part of so that is irrelevant. If anyone can help clear this up it would be much appreciated.

Congrats on all of your AP credits! UCF caps AP credit scores at 45 credit hours:

A maximum of 45 credit hours in any combination of extension, AP, IB, correspondence, CLEP, Armed Forces Service School Credits, and University Credit by Examination will be accepted by the University for application toward an undergraduate degree

Definitely 45. I have like 50 but only around 30 will count towards my degree anyway :/

I’m happy I don’t have to drop any of my credits, even if I have a number that aren’t going toward my degree. Thank you for the help!
