“Why was the continental army founded instead of using state militias?”
I chose the one about a European-style war but I wasn’t sure at all, did anyone else get this?

i put that it was because of the state militas were often absent from battle.

Idk about the 1930s and 1950s one, I put isolationism, thinking about like the Good Neighbor Policy. Can anyone find concrete support for an answer?

I put traffic on the Midwest, too, since I placed the Mississippi River traffic with the Midwest. Not sure if that’s correct though.

No I think the dred Scott decision made slavery possible. What about the Question about the book by Helen hunt (?) was that Dawes act?

I put traffic on the Midwest, too, since I placed the Mississippi River traffic with the Midwest. Not sure if that’s correct though.

thats what i put, and the 30’s and 50’s one was the only one i skipped, i just could not figure it out

Yes, the Dawes act.

What about the Question about the book by Helen hunt (?) was that Dawes act?

Yeah, A Century of Dishonor was about the plight of Native Americans.

that was Dawes Act. i skipped that one, though.

What was number 2? It was like what was an effect of the First Great Awakening

"Anyone remember the one that was asking which was not a cause of the revolution?
Was it afraid of Britain banning slavery or wealthy people being upset at Proc of 1763?

I put the former but the latter confused me because why would wealthy people in particular care? "

I said wealthy people because the wealthy people were usually Loyalists (its like quoted in AMSCO) and Loyalists obviously wouldn’t want to leave Britain. That was my rationale behind that. but, your answer seems right too.

Idk about the 1930s and 1950s one, I put isolationism, thinking about like the Good Neighbor Policy. Can anyone find concrete support for an answer?

I put traffic on the Midwest, too, since I placed the Mississippi River traffic with the Midwest. Not sure if that’s correct though.

the answer to the first one was heavier involvement in latin america. remember roosevelt collarary? and bay of pigs?

i put the same answer for the second question.

i was stuck between predestination and the clergy answer for that

Not remembering the question about the 30s and 50s? Does anyone remember the question? And what about the quote about the labor unions…I know someone talked about it on an earlier post but I dont think reached a definitive answer…

What was the question about the effects of evangelical revivals?

no i think its conversion and faith

@ Rohit. I said something about faith or like open conversion. bc the first great awakening democratized religion

i didn’t choose either of those. i chose E i think.

the quote about labor unions?
That was socialist, so the Industrial Workers of the World

Salvation through personal redemption or something, I thought? I remember I put E.

what was the intention for hamilton’s policies?

i had to decide between two: he wanted the manufacturing to prosper and the wealthy and the southern planters to benefit

i put manufacturing. anyone else?

What was the one about second great awakening effects?
stuck between woman’s rights and immigratino quotas
