May 2013 SAT - figuring out experimentals

i believe the answer was e right? @anoshca

I put D :S but i was choosing between D&E

but it was experimental :D

if i get it right will it be counted

Yes i had the same question the answer is 20. bcuz 50/100*20=10 Therefore, 20+10=30. So, it exceed itself by 10…

my experimental was math- i had 2 grid-in sections and 2 multiple choice.

one of the multiple choice sections was ridiculously hard- one of the questions was about this kid named brody and it said on day 95 he sat in seat 4, on what day after that would he sit in seat 4 again?? did anyone else (that wasn’t math-experimental) have this question??

@ soccamonkey95

Yeah, that was definitely experimental. I didn’t get that question.

I got an extra math…

I had math experimental(international-europe)
is the math section with vertices(a cube getting cut on the edges) experimental? if not can anybody explain how to solve that q?

@germanboy i think that section is experimental too, because it wasn’t one of my sections. i think the experimental sections can vary, all that matters is that they aren’t on the standard, non-experimental SAT.

Sorry German boy and monkey95, but the math section with cube was not an experimental section. The experimental was the one with the clock and scatter plot at the end. The answer for the scatter plot answer was e

@mitcho but it’s safe to say that the section with the brody question was experimental, right?

but according to the bluebook there is only one grid-in(or the student produced responses) for math section. i had the gridin for the section with vertices and other section that i cant remember. so i think the scatter point which involved mc isnt experimental?!

one of the reading experimentals had to do with video games and a guy returning to visit his house

I feel weird because I don’t remember having ANY of these sections. Are there any test booklets that don’t have experimentals? Mine seemed normal throughout.

When I took the SAT two years ago, I didn’t have an experimental section. Recall how many sections you had: If there was 10, you had an experimental. If, like mine back then, you only had nine, then you didn’t have one. I think the colors of the front covers of the booklets were different depending on whether they had an experimental or not.

The one about Venice was experimental
