I just SAT the exam, I found it hideously hard, well the math section anyway. But considering I had not really prepared not. I am not surprised. This way my first time, I am taking it again this fall.

Hey guys,

I just SAT the exam, I found it hideously hard, well the math section anyway. But considering I had not really prepared not. I am not surprised. This way my first time, I am taking it again this fall.

Piece Of Cake!

I liked it better than my last SAT (in December). The CR was better than last time. I found the Math quite easy (but I do much more higher level Math in my country :-/ ) and the Writing was okay...

(Please do alert me if I am revealing anything about the test so I can edit - as far as I can see, I haven't given any details about the test.)

lol, you revealed the december test, no biggie. besdies, the US students should be done in lie an hour anyway.

Okay I edited it so that nothing, absolutely nothing, is written about the passages ... I hope its okay now...

forget about it. Besides, all the kids who could have cheated are AT the test...don't worry.

lol thanks!!

come on already, people! before I forget the test lol! the details are already blurry as it is.........

hey comeon wait a while we dont wanna cheat do we??! lol

guess not.
listen, I posted a thread like this in the inernational student's forum (because the tests are most likely different), so in an hour or so, we can discuss it...

ya sure...after one hour i guess its okay...

what about test center conditions lol, is that okay to talk about?
my test center was next to a school, so there was alot of noise by the end of the test lol.
at one point, they even had the DJ (where the hell did that come from?) on FULL BLAST!

heheh mine was at this school and suddenly in the math section we hear this loud religious music (in India its called 'bhajan' - religious music thats played during prayertime) being played and it went on and on ...

Just got back from my test (US), and I found the test to be quite easy. I never took it before, so I was expecting it to be pretty hard, but nope.

I found reading and writing really incredibly easy. Math was a huge ***** for me, as usual, and the essay topic was kinda vapid...

I got ripped off on essay time, writing and reading were cake, math was good but not as good as I hoped.

I answered most everything (Right I hope!), so I'm shooting for upper 2000s or 2100s!

ugh math was not fun for me...and this is coming from a person who's usually good at math...writing and reading for me were okay..the vocab was easy for me.

DO NOT REVEAL ANYTHING ABOUT THE TEST--------i wasn't really getting why! Now, I get it............the OP is from England! And that means, due to time difference s/he has taken the SAT even before the US students went to the test center! lol!
(never mind, I was just talking to me!)

I agree with Eloquence, the english sections were easy. But Maths although I am good at it, I found more difficult. I did try some sample questions from books and stuff but b22dy Amazon had them sent like a week before the Test date. It did the same for the SAT II books I've ordered. Thanksfully I have one book for everything. But anyways that's OT. Just wondering, with practice can one actually improve one's score in 2months?
+ Is the SAT II harder?(doing bio chem and maths IIC)
+ a shocker for me was the way the exam was set out. How do u guys manage to get 3hrs free to do a paper without being interrupted by ur parents?
+ Is the format for SAT II different?

i thought the math was easy, easier than march at least
