May SAT 2011: CR Section

How would you rank the CR in terms of difficulty. 10 being the hardest, 1 being the easiest?

For jazz I put that

various forms or something

everyone has a distinctive voice or something

shamoil, HAHAH it wasnt baby kicking in the womb, but it did mention like a feeling in the womb and the answer nonetheless was development apparently. what’d you guys write about for your essays?

I also put demanding. Oh this might have been easy but vocab is my downfall. The religious jewlerly.

Was it decorative or cosmetic and conspicuous.

my essay was about whether work limits one’s creativity

work as in career/job**

@sid i put decorative

i think the baby in the womb question was actually the “development” answer (something like novelty of a development) i put that in too

ah wait, thanks for jogging my memory…yeah, i got those two for my answers as well…I know that it couldn’t be personal/creative for the second one because it doesn’t explicitly say that jazz is creative…that’s only implied…idk about the other one

@sid i put decorative too
@gsfan, the second one i put distinctive voices too, first one im pretty sure it was demanding
@nde, i’d say about like a 7? not really an 8, MAYBE a high 6

@liv4 ok i probably got the first jazz question wrong

Whoa wait, for the tone of the crowd at the concert, it was color? I put manner. Because it was changing… o.o

The emphasis of the essay was color. So it was color

i’m pretty sure it was color

Anyone remember the green chemist questions.

Green chemist questions were experimental.

idk about the color one im pretty sure it was manner

so was the high school girl perplexity, i picked that just off gut feelin was low on time

i put in manner as well…

am i the only one who had the reading experimental but doesn’t think it was about green chemists? i haven’t read a passage about that but i did read a dual passage about venice. do we get different experimentals by region, even if we’re all international?

i was down to perplexity and exuberant. picked exurbant, not sure if i’m right though

For the “tone” one of the crowd, I said color… the whole paragraph was centered around her ability to perceive colors and after the word “tone” it said she would move her head and see different lights and it would look like something else.
Different shades of lights = colors.
