either way author 1 definitely did not think they were simplistic

^Do you remember if one of the choices was “thematically complex?”

I thought it was explicitly stated by author 1 that the paintings were so good even though they were so simplistic.

um no…“The multicolored and stylized chinese horses in Lascaux, the pride of hunting lions with their eyes ablaze in Chauvet, and the weighty, yet delicately cruving bison in Altarmia and Font-de- Gaume all prove that beauty is truly eternal” … doesn’t sound simplistic at all to me.

Which page is the link to the passage on?

You are so SIMPLISTIC.

lol im back hahas.
anyway @dizzying and brandnew I NOW remember the futile question: i remember frowning at the “direct approach” because it wasnt supported by simply the terms “sparks and smokes” and i really dont think collegeboard would go that far as to make you infer that these sparks and smokes things are related to something discussed AFTER… but i see your point even though i kinda still think effort is a less arguable choice…

and heres a complete list guys: anything to add to the cave or vocab?? im sure there are more questions… now we only have like 58 or so AND I REALLY NEED TO FIND ALL 67 (well maybe not ALL the easy vocabs but definitely all the passage ones even the ridiculously easy questions)

I don’t wan to get into too much detail on the section but Ill say a few things.

I thought it was a rather easy Critical Reading. I usually find the CR sections really hard too but this one I did not stuggle with at all.

what was the question for the evocative/simplistic one?

i already got 10 wrong according to that list…
anyone have any idea what 10 wrong is?
i hope it’s higher than 600

^CR was okay for me other than some iffy questions for the cave GOD DAMN THAT PASSAGE

@jbchun it should be above 600 my friend got 7 wrong in her CR in march and got a 680…

10 wrong is usually like 650-680

@sauternety36
yes!!! but just incase in the history of SAT
has 10wrong ever been less than 600?
and can somebody put up the full list?

what was that question with evocative and moving again?

I feel like there’s a good chance that I got no more then 10 wrong. I did omitt either 3 or 4 though, I think maybe 4.

So let’s say worst chance scenerio, I got 10 wrong and omitted 4, about what would my score be?

@jbchun the list was in the previous page - check to see.

@business the evocative one was asking for the author of passage one thought of the paintings he was waxing poetic about.

@gardy24
well busi and sauter said i would get a sub 600
so i think 10 wrong and 4 omit is like 500?..??

@gardy - it depends on the curve but im gonna be pessimistic and warn you that its highly probable that it will get down below 600

Excluding SC how many questions do we have??
