@kbbm its because the people were suspected and so their reputations would be defamed. I think the choice with guilt referred to the guilt the wrongly accused people would feel which doesn’t make sense.

My reasoning or it not being guilt was that it implied that they felt guilt - if they were innocent, they wouldn’t feel guilt. I wish I could explain it better, but I don’t remember it that well.

I was wondering what the lawyer/feelings question was too haha, now I know why. It wasn’t about the lawyer- the lawyer was never there. It was whoever the guy was who came to talk to the narrator, I think the nephew of someone he used to work for or something…

Can someone explain the chimps cracking nuts answer. It seemed to me like that wasn’t implied at all in the passage: It just stated that they were making noises and working… I chose that they were working diligently in unison (something like that), which is more general and can definitely be implied by the passage.

what does -2 mean?
2 questions wrong or 2 total points taken off ( so 8 questions wrong)

Chimpanzee passage:
a question about the impact of technology… it stated in the passage:
choices were like
a. The phenomenon has overshadowed its creators
d. The achievement of technology is important and great… etc

^@Sunny, I think I put overshadowed? unless there was a better answer i can’t remember…

@evillion- I agree. I don’t think cracking nuts was correct, but idr remember what I put. Maybe something about working together on different tasks? idk…

@apolohno- -2 means two questions wrong, which would be 2.5 points off a perfect 67

the woman with flamboyant style = the first line of the passage is said to emphasize the main opinion of the passage!

It’s definitely “overshadowed its creators” because the passage said that technology had become bigger and badder than humans, or something like that.

@best91hs

I thought the answer to that was to dispel something.

^ you’re right, it was to dispel a potential misconseption

yeah boiiiiiiiiii

Can anyone justify why the nuts answer was right?

^ I dont remember the nuts question completely, but I dont think it was the right answer. Was it mimicking humans something?

^got mimicking humans

^that strayed too far from the question.

for the question from the Diamond passage that was like what does the author mean that the innocent people are being hurt by all the suspicion what was the answer? I put they are being corrupted but idk if thats right…

we agreed that it was defamed

does anybody have anymore of the exact readings.

^^ not all, but yes it was defamed.

^ lol that’s a luxury. We never have had the exact readings until this one.
