Hey all,

Been reading this forums for a while looking for a solution, but couldn't find one that applied to my situation.

Just graduated from McGill university, majored in Finance in what you could call a top tier Canadian school. I want to continue school, and whether it be my masters in finance or my MBA, I'm worried about my GPA of 3.0.

I struggled in a few accounting courses in my 3rd year, receiving a D in one. I haven't taken the GRE or the GMAT, and as of now I'm working for a bank here in Vancouver (Vancity.) I dealt with quite a bit of stress and had family issues (death close to me) and also was debating whether or not I should mention this in an application. I know it's not necessarily a classy thing to do, but it had an effect on my marks.

I know I won't get into top tier schools, but is it reasonable to think I could get into a B school with stellar test scores? I was looking at University of Melbourne's program, and it says a 3.0 is minimum.

cheers,
