The deadline for admissions notification for USC is March 15th.

From what I understand, I should expect a phone call from them if I am accepted. Is this true? How common is this?

In the case that I am accepted, when should I expect to hear from them?

If I am rejected, when should I expect to hear from them?

Thanks.

^^^you are too edgy. Chill bro. Wait for the damn letter.

Anyone who actually has some experience/advise that wants to comment on this? I am on college confidential to get rid of my anxiety. This is the proper place to vent so I am not constantly bothering everyone with my thoughts on the subject. This is important to me. I have a lot of anticipation, and if I want to try and figure out when I am going to learn of their decision based on other people's experienes, then so be it. You don't have to read the thread or respond.

Chill on that nose boy.

They called me today, and told me that you're rejected. Sorry man.

I doubt you'll get a call if you are rejected.

That would just be flat out cruel and unusual...

"Hello?"
"Is this Phear Me?"
"Yeah."
"This is USC."
"Oh, I've been waiting anxiously for your call!"
"Well, here we are, and we just wanted to call and tell you, Yo ass is rejected bro!"
"Are you serious?"
"Like a heart attack."

No, they wouldn't call you if you're rejected, they'll call me...so I can tell you on here that you're rejected!!!

(I'm good at aleviating anxiety, aren't I?)

College Confidential is not where you should be if you want to talk about MBA angst. Go to the businessweek.com b-school forums. Tons more posts there.

I can't wait to get in and shut you the ---- up

alicante, thanks for the info ...

I suppose this is as civil as a Trojan & bruin have ever gotten along for an extended period of time.

:: gazes at the finger fountain fondly ::

You mean a wannabe Trojan? ;)

with a 3.87 GPA through my sophmore year in college, I am quite certain I had the option of transferring to USC anytime I wanted to.

However, with a full scholarship/aid package that included no loans and a family in dire need of financial support, I stayed at Biola and sacrificed my GPA to work and make money. It wasn't an ideal time to take on $60k in debt.

But yes, a wanna be Trojan. We'll find out in March, but I will always be a Trojan in my heart.

You mean, a "frustrated Trojan".

Keep telling your lies pinnochio

phear_me -

I hope you know that I'm just messing with you when I called you a wanna-be. You seem like an okay guy and USC would be lucky to have a person with such school spirit. I hope that you get in to Marshall and join the dark side. It's a pretty good program and it sounds like you really want to go there, so I'm rooting for you. But I hope that you understand that once you're in, I won't ever root for you again!!!!

Go Bruins!

I am actually talking my mom into a MSW (Masters at Social Work) at UCLA because of the price. I sent her the USC info first, but the most attractive thing about UCLA is the price.

When not having an effect on USC, I root for UCLA. The better you are when you beat you, the more fun it is.

FIGHT ON!

: )

p.s. I think I will get in to the PT program. If not, I might study hard and go to Yale/Cornell (stanford or HBS would by far be my top two picks, but that's unlikely).

You seem like a cool guy too.

Oops, accidental repost and now I have to put at least 10 characters.

ummmm ...

FIGHT ON!

For the record - I'm graduating from the USC program MBA program this summer.
