I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration w/a concentration in Finance. However, over the past two years I've held only a couple of temporary jobs which were in fields totally unrelated to my field of study. Recently, some friends I encountered suggested that I switch to accounting, stating that it would better suit my personality and that it is easier to find employment in that field as opposed to finance. I am now seriously considering that path, but I wonder which option listed in the title is better. In addition, based on the degree I already have, would colleges allow me to pursue a second Bachelor's degree in Accounting?

Wow CMU, that’s my dream school. I’m surprise with a degree from CMU that you are only finding temporary gigs. Are you located in the area or any major metropolitan areas? Have you spoken to CMU’s career service?

Honestly, I wouldn’t waste my time on another Bachelors degree. If it were me, I would pursue an MBA with a concentration in Accounting. Afterwards, I would sit for the CPA exam.
