Does anyone know how to get into a top 15 MBA program with no experience. I know that this is a bad idea and extremely hard but I still want to do it. Thank you.
Could you clarify what you mean by no experience? Are you asking if top MBA programs will accept you right out of undergrad without you having full time work experience? Presumably the top programs believe that you will be better prepared for a career in business if you had prior work experience.
@CheddarcheeseMN Yea I mean straight out of undergrad
There’s no magic formula lol. If you had a 4.0 GPA and near-perfect or perfect GRE/GMAT scores that would probably help but I don’t even see the point of getting a MBA without work experience first.
Top MBA programs are adamant about requiring at least 2 years of post bachelor’s experience. They do not have a shortage of applicants who meet that requirement.
Since you haven’t started your undergrad yet, my advice would be to do the best you can with your undergrad. Gain some experience through internships. Your outlook and goals may change. No one can chance you now for an MBA acceptance.
Wow OP isn’t even in undergrad? Seriously OP don’t worry about it right now. Take the advice offered above, and maybe come back to CC in 2 years once you see if you still want to do business and if you’re even doing well enough to be competitive for a top MBA program.
It is possible and doable, but the competition will be stiff.
