MBA vs. Master of Accounting?

I'm looking to become a Financial Analyst but to do so I need a degree in finance or accounting, in another thread someone suggested I go with a master of accounting from CSU Fullerton. If I did do this I would save a ton of money and time but would it give me the same benefit as someone who has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from a well ranked school like UC Irvine or USC?

Also, by going to CSU Fullerton I'll be eligible for finance internships which means I could, in theory, get 3 years of finance experience in internships so when I graduate I can fulfill the work experience requirement most employers ask for, is this right or do they not care about internships?

What is your undergrad in?

Most Master of Accounting programs are a year long from what I have seen. Not sure how you think you could get 3 years of finance experience via internships.

What is your previous work experience? If you have little to none, an MBA isn’t really an option and isn’t a good choice.
