Should i get a bachelors in Biomedical engineering and an MBA or Masters for BME and a bachelirs in business administration?

The first would be easier… not sure what your goal is though.

@se4sons i ultimately want to manage biomedical engineers and run the business aspect of an biomedical engineering firm so should I get a bachelors in BME, go to the workforce and then go back after like 5 yrs for a paid MBA?

It is very hard to do engineering for a masters with an undergrad in business. They will require you to take more undergrad classes to make up deficiencies.

@texaspg so is it completely unreasonable to even go for business for my undergrad and then want to do something in engineering?

Usually, I would say yes unless you do a bunch of Calculus, Physics, Chemistry and Biology classes outside of business school.

BME requirements in those 4 areas are considerable (may vary based on the school). A serious engineering school will force you to take all the classes you missed during grad school.

Get the Bioengineering undergrad… and you can get either the MBA or Masters in Bioengineering later. I studied business hard undergrad and am able to get an MBA in 12 months compared to an engineer who never even took accounting getting one in 15 months. I would also never qualify for a Masters in Bio or Engineering.
