biomed engineering undergrad to business grad school?

I am about to start college and am a little confused myself as to what path to take. As said in the title, I am interested in doing biomedical engineering in undergraduate school and then going on the a graduate business school. Is this an impractical endeavor in terms of amount of years spent studying versus salary? Although salary is not my only concern, of course it would be favorable to make a good amount of money if I'm going to be investing that much time into my work anyway. With that said, would it be more wise for me to studying something like finance/accounting/economics in undergrad and then go to business school versus what I purposed in the beginning of this message? Just as a side note that might help get an idea of who i am -- I am a pretty ambitious person so I'm going to give my all in whatever i do. With that said, if I study business I don't want to be just another worker but more like the head entrepreneur/leader of the company or so on. I am still young and just about to start college so im new to all this stuff, so sorry if my post sounds ignorant in some way :P

Thanks for your response!

Biotech is growing field. There will be a continuing demand for managers who understand the science and technological aspects of the industry but who also have the management skills needed to run those companies. After finishing your BS degree you could work for two to five years and then pursue an MBA.
