MBA w/Supply Chain Concentration or Masters in Supply Chain

So I'm pretty new with these forums and don't post often. I've been browsing the internet for information and thus has upset me.. I'm approaching my senior year and majoring in Political Science with minor in Justice Studies.. I'm interested in getting into the Supply Chain Management field because of start-finish production that SCM's oversee.

My G.P.A is fairly low at a 3.0. I have leadership positions in organizations on campus. Is there a chance for me to get into an MBA program? As I've read that they value work experience highly and I don't see my major getting me into a job that's related to business..

Another question I was wondering was which should I aim for an MBA with a concentration in SCM or Masters in SCM?

Anyone with information between the two would be appreciated! And any advice on what course of action I should take before applying

No. At least not into one that will serve you well.

Aim for a job right now. It sounds like you like the idea of SCM, and perhaps you will love the field, so get a job in it and feel it out. You may learn you hate it, or you may learn which aspects of the career excite you the most. If it is the later, and you love it, apply your knowledge of the field to determine your ideal role in that field and how to get into the role. My guess, MBA will be more managing the technical aspects while MS in SCM will be more understanding the intricacies of the technical aspects. Both can lead to great things, but one will probably give you more of a leg up to where you ultimately want to be.
