MCAT - biological sciences

I finished organic chemistry last week, and now I'm onto Biochemistry by Voet/Pratt...is this, along with Campbell's Biology, all the information needed to get a 15 on this section of the MCAT?

Yes, that's all that's needed to get a 15. Good luck with that...

Good. Should be a cakewalk, although I cant say the same for verbal reasoning....-___-

If I were you, I'd aim for a 15 in the Physical Sciences section. It's generally easiest to get a 15 on that section.

<a href="http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/examineedata/combined07.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://www.aamc.org/students/mcat/examineedata/combined07.pdf</a></p>

0.2% get a 15 on Verbal. 0.3% get a 15 on Bio. 0.4% get a 15 in the PS section.

MCAT success does not equal knowing every single topic that could possibly be tested.

NCG is being sarcastic with you. The entire MCAT is a verbal reasoning test. The sciences require background knowledge, but that's just a foundation. All the knowledge in the world won't help you if you can't analyze the problem critically.

In any case, 15's are absurdly rare. Sane MCAT takers count themselves lucky if they can make a 12 on any section.

is the campbell's biology book referring to the one used in AP bio?

obviously, you mean you couldnt see the sarcasm in my response? Lol, how selective.

Exactly. That is why the gods of chemistry and biology gave us USABO and USNCO.
