MCAT Exam

I'm planning on taking the MCAT JR year of college, but the only thing is, people have told me not to take the premed required classes at a community college. How would I be prepared to take the MCAT JR or even Senior year if I don't take organic chem, bio, gen chem, and physics FR and Soph year at the community college. I'm planning on transferring to a reputable college and then take the premed required classes. Any advice on what I should do? Thanks

You could always take time off before going to medical school. If you have to, take gen chemical and maybe biology.

Typically, if you start at a CC, you WILL be taking a gap year, regardless. You won’t have the relationships built at your 4-year after <1 yr there to get strong LORs, nor will you have had the time to get substantial research experience there. Basically, you’re going to want to wait a year. Your app will be stronger, you’ll save money (i.e.,likely not have to reapply), and (with any luck) you won’t end up being tagged a reapplicant, which can significantly hurt you the 2nd time around (i.e., you want to avoid a second time around).
