I've heard that it is highly recommended to take a year of college physics before taking the MCAT. But in my particular case, college physics at my college is difficult to schedule into my classes early enough to make it before the mcat, since I really want to study abroad.

I do have some previous exposure to physics though. I took AP Physics C back in junior year of high school and received 5's on Mechanics and E&M. The AP Physics C covered mechanics and E&M in taught with calculus. At my college the Physics for pre-meds actually does not cover integration/calculus methods like AP PHysics C, but it does cover optics, which I only cursorily went over during high school (barely remember any).

In the end, I'm not sure if mcat Physics is something I can self-review with AP knowledge and a MCAT Physics book + MCAT class or if it is something that really needs a year of college instruction.

Thanks!
