MCAT Timing

I will have finished my gen chem, ochem, general biol, physics 1, along with a molecular biology class, and this weak physiology course by the end of my sophmore year. Fall semester of junior year I am going abroad. I plan on taking physics II and a real physio course in the spring semester of junior year.

When is the best time to take the MCAT?

I haven't taken the MCATs yet, but from what I know the physics on it is very basic. So I think you would be OK taking it the Spring of your JR year even if you weren't done with your Physics II course just yet. Does your school have a Winter session where you can take it during the Winter instead?

I think it's better to take MCATs after you have completed Physics II and Physio (which will cover significant part of Biochem as well)

Well currently I plan on taking it in May of my junior year, right after the physio course and Physics II. But at that point I will have finished my gen chem freshman year, and ochem my sophmore year. Would I be at a disadvantage taking it may of junior year?
