Are there any McBride Scholars around who could enlighten me about the process? Does anyone know the admission rates for the McBride Scholar program?

Bumpity bump. (Since there seems to be more activity here lately I was hoping maybe someone would be able to answer my Q from a few months ago.)

I have not seen published admission rates for McBride Scholars, although that is not suprising given what I would imagine to be the relatively few number of applicants and an admissions process not driven by the same factors as in undergraduate admissions. Have you tried contacting the Admissions Office for that information. They are typically quite responsive and helpful.

I did try contacting them, but couldn't get ahold of anyone with the program.

This is some info on it from their site:

"The Mission of the McBride Program is to make a rigorous liberal arts education and the bachelors degree accessible to women BEYOND TRADITIONAL COLLEGE AGE. The Program seeks women from a diversity of backgrounds, resources, and perspectives, who demonstrate intellectual capacity, intense intellectual commitment, self-directed and purposeful life-vision, and the desire to make a meaningful contribution to the world."
