If there’s anything else I’m missing just ask in your responses. I’m from NY state. Thank you in advance!

I think you are a very competitive applicant for ANYTHING YOU WANT. Probably the biggest thing working against you is being out of state since UT accepts few OOS students, but I can’t see anything else you could add to your resume. Do well on your essays. The prompts for ApplyTexas are out.

@gettingschooled do you think submitting my SAT score would be disadvantageous in any way? Should I just stick with the ACT?

I don’t know. They always tell you to send both and they will use whichever helps you most. In your case, both are strong but your ACT is so much stronger than the SAT. Your SAT is great. Do not become someone who gets concerned about it.

But beware that no one who is OOS can use UT as a safety. You really need to consider it a reach or a match at best.

Alright, thanks for the advice.

I was international and I really didn’t face a lot of competition getting into BHP. TBH, you look good for BHP. You’ll definitely get an interview. Just take care of that and you’re in. On the off chance you don’t get in, you’ll have another chance start of sophomore year to get in! Best of luck

I can’t say for BHP, but I was OOS and got into ChemE with about the same stats. You’ll be fine getting into McCombs, and definitely have a shot at BHP. Good luck!
