McCombs BHP (Texas) or Kenan-Flagler (UNC)

I have two weeks to decide between the two. Which one should I pick? How is the recruiting of each? Are many of the Kenan-Flagler students recruited by Atlanta companies/firms? My ultimate plan is to get a MBA at a prestigious. Which program would give me the best opportunity to achieve this goal?

BHP recruiting is great. You'll get first priority for interviews with banks and the like. I don't know much about Kenan-Flager, but in BHP, you'll end up with a 3.8+ GPA (due to massive grade inflation), and a ton of interviews. I don't know how they place in Atlanta specifically though.

And also, where is most of the recruiting coming from for each program? Thanks

no massive grade inflation not in BHP?

UNC-chapel hill is recruited by all firms but they are hit heavily by the local firms. (wachovia secrurities has their office in durham i believe) it is a 2 year program however. i would go with bhp. can't go wrong

Not as much so. In the BHP classes, the teachers know how important GPA is for i-banking gigs, and that the students are pretty smart. Most of the people end up with As (and a few Bs), but every rarely ever a C. Of course, you're working with other motivated people that would probably tear up the normal finance classes anyways.

Most of the recruiting for BHP goes to the DFW or Houston area, although every year there are a handful of people who want to go to New York. I have not gone through this process though, but I think choosing your location is fairly flexible once you get an offer. I could be wrong though.

how do u apply to BHP as junior transfer?
