I have no idea where Tepper is.

That should answer ur question....

after all, prestige is important in business.

Tepper = Carnegie Mellon

to b honest, alot of ppl from my school know unc only cuz of the bball team and have no idea what kenan flager is. but then again these are the same fools who dont know what ross or stern are

lol yeah most people arent familiar with the actual names of business schools, unless they're interested in the field

people have definitely heard of both schools! but you wont have to worry about recruitment at UNC since the triangle research area was recently ranked #2 for best business jobs

I did the same research b/c it was b/w CMU and UNC. I'm telling you right now, UNC.

If you want to do back office, quant. based business jbos, go to Tepper. If you want everything else, go UNC. UNC's RTP is huge, plus while CMU has a bit more on campus recruitment, UNC has many more total via online job postings and on campus recruiting.

Plus, starting salaries are equal, if not a big higher, at UNC>

thanks ppl. yea sorry i should have clarified what college tepper's in.
how difficult is it to get into kenan flagler ?
it would suck if i go to unc and not get into kenan flagler
and how difficult is the course work?

Very tough admissions for Kenan-Flagler, so you defintely have to have a "plan B" major in mind just in case you don't get in. Great program though.
