If you are still having a tough time deciding, visit both campuses and get a feel for the schools. Personally, I think that just the opportunity to get into BHP (although its very competitive) tips the scales in favor of UT. But you should look at the schools in person and get some perspective for yourself.

Again, it isn't even the best school in LA. UCLA > USC. Sorry if that hurts your feelings, but thats life.

What is the basis of your opinion that UCLA is better than USC? Rankings in specific academic departments? Sure UCLA may beat out USC in many rankings, but wouldn't you agree that what's much more important is the networking of that school and the job placement? And in that regards, USC has the upper-hand over UCLA. I have seen many posts in the past by UCLA alumni that state that their alumni network is nothing compared to that of USC.

DarkPenguin, thanks for the info. BW didn't break out information for the honors track, so i wasn't aware of a difference between that and McCombs in general.

BSD, you've posted five times on this thread, and not provided any information what-so-ever. It's quite obvious you're not a fan of USC, however it's pretty pathetic that you put so much effort into bashing another school on an anonymous board, without evening being able to articulate an argument regarding the school's supposed weaknesses.

I'm sorry I should have been more explicit when I posted that link to the businessweek rankings. you have to click on it, then your browser window will change to the buinessweek undergraduate business school rankings for 2007. then you scroll down, look for McCombs, look for Marshall. See the difference. If you need a calculator, your computer should have that in Accessories (if you're running windows).

BusinessWeek has Emory above MIT...Give me a break lol

^^haha fair enough.

you're entitled to your opinion bicoastal but the fact that you go to USC really makes your opinion biased. I think most will agree that BHP is a stronger program. thats fine if you disagree...no shame in being proud of your school.

BSD24 i agree with u and usc is highly overated and its ****
