Wait what!!!??

Anyone here still on RDP? I’m getting antsy…

I’m doing A levels and applied back in November, my application is still ready for review!!!

Did anyone receive a Major Entrance Scholarship recently (a few days/weeks ago)??

same @mgdlt1

My son is a US resident and have Canadian citizenship, He applied to Desautels first choice and 2nd choice Bachelor of Arts. March 16th, he got accepted to Arts. Still waiting for Desautels. Desautel status says - Reviewed- Pending Decision.

I’m in the same boat. US and Canadian citizen and currently on Reviewed Decision Pending for a week from Desautels. I’m wondering how long it typically takes for the status to be updated from RDP

@kjokeefe hey, don’t worry I’m in the same situation, French student applying to McGill with my twin sister, i have a slightly less competitive average than her (15.7/20 compared to 16.2/20) but my academic background is more consistent meanwhile she’s had a lower average than me our entire high school years, except this one. I didn’t get into Edinburgh while she got in, but we both got into McGill and received our offers today. So to be honest, don’t consider yourself less competitive than her for a slight difference, it really doesn’t mean anything about your actual abilities.

Admitted pending final exams,
French student with international background applying for BA&BS + BSc Immunology
Best average: 15.7/20 this year but averaged 14/20 last year!
SATs: 1200 (I didn’t send them)
Didn’t ask for any scholarship
I can’t see any admission letter, do you guys know where I might find it?

@MOMNY0405 @2024classof Desautels is the most competitive program at McGill. Their decisions take longer to come out than most other programs.

@kbattah The link for the admission letter (which is a pdf file) will show on Minerva right next to where it says ‘Admitted - Pending Final Results’. Don’t worry if it’s not there yet, sometimes it takes them a few hours up to a day or two to upload it there.

DS applied to Arts and uploaded midterm transcripts at the end of Jan and he’s still Reviewed - Decision Pending. It’s driving me bonkers!

US High School that sends several students to McGill every year. In fact, another student with a lower GPA was already accepted.

Is anyone else in this weird limbo? Heard back from U of T in December, but really hoping to consider McGill too.

@Douglock thanks !! I was kind of worried

Twin sister also got in (French student)
Asked for Desautels and Faculty of Arts and was admitted to both
Average: 16.2/20

French student too , no response yet .
McGill asked for results of 2nd trimestre, status “Further review required”.
Accepted at U of T, Northeastern , Umass Amherst - and WL at Cornell, GeorgiaTech, NYU- was still hoping for a response from McGill too.

It depends on which programs you applied to. On a side note, McGill does have higher cut-offs than you UofT so it’s not really worth comparing.

Mechanical Engineering is actually the most competitive program at McGill

Finallyyyyy;
Accepted to McGill’s Mechanical Engineering (1st choice) and Electrical Engineering (2nd choice)
International Student;
A-Level grades: 5A* (Predicted)
