Mcgill Bcom vs. UC Davis Econ, UCSB Econ, Oxy Econ, USD Business, and Santa Clara U

Accepted to Mcgill Bcom and qualify of Quebec Tuition which is about $4K + Room and board

Instate Calif. and wondering if living in Montreal is the way to go. Son interested in business/finance and accepted to UC Davis, UCSB, OXY, USD and SCU all for business and econ.

What do you all think? He seems to want to seek a career in finance and investments.

I am leaning toward McGill because of price and global reputation. Note sure if the others are worth the price, etc... compared to Mcgill.

Playing devil’s advocate: 24,000 undergrads, 37,500 students total, grade deflation, cold weather, high drop out rate, no campus, students live scattered around some neighborhoods in the city, speaking French is very recommended and learning French a basic (a nice plus to have for econ though, too).
UCD, UCDSB, Oxy, all worth it in my opinion, but very different experiences.
