I was placed on “Reviewed - Descision pending” Last weekend. I applied to the Faculty of Arts
I’m an international IB student. I have 36 predicted points, which placed me at “further review required” around 3 weeks ago as they requested my mock examination scores. I sent them, which stated that I received 30 points on my mocks. 2 weeks later I was moved to “Reviewed - Descision pending”, and thats where I’m at now… Given my stats, does anyone have similar ones or estimations as to when I may hear back… thanks!! Thanks for the input on the admissions office manner. To be clear: I wasn’t looking for customer service or bells and whistles - just basic politeness. What I got was akin to a taunt. But it’s true, it was one person, one day. Good luck to everyone.

Hi, IB student here, applied in November and so far the only news I’ve gotten was being asked to send final first semester grade.
Got a 3k$ entrance scholarship and 3k$ department of science scholarship! McGill is definitely climbing towards my top choices right now.

I submitted my application on Sep 21st, 2016 and upload everything in October. I was on ready for review from that time until now! I really don’t give a f now. The point is if you want to reject me, then reject me the first. Worst college app experience ever. THANK YOU MCGILL.

@JessicaBox Unfortunately, since I did not take IB, I cannot speak as to your stats, but I applied to the same faculty as you. Many decisions seem to be coming out around this time, and I heard (unverified) that McGill wants to finish as much as they can by mid-April. Just keep holding on, and good luck!

those who were given scholarships- how long after you were accepted did you hear about your scholarship decisions?

@CIGsOpF0722 I got a 3000$ scholarship (the one they give you without applying for it when you have excellent grades) like 2 or 3 days after I got in

@Lins99 I don’t know how to describe it (or how I got it), but it’s 3k$ for first year only.
Hey guys! Just though I would update since I know a lot of you are in a similar situation. I applied in October and have been ‘Ready for Review’ since. On the McGill calendar, the time frame for my case spanned until mid-march and when I called them last week, they told me that the admissions notification timeframe was long gone. Today I finally received an admissions decision by the faculty of science (BBL and Physical sciences) and financial aid pending! Hang in there guys!
