@CosmicMaria I think your GPA is pretty on point, but I am no expert.
@ryanwww congrats on the multiple admissions. My daughter looking to apply next year - how many colleges/faculties at McGill can you apply to?
@my2caligirls You can apply to two faculties per application. If he was accepted to three programs he must have filed a separate application and paid an extra fee.
This is due to significant differences in requirements among faculties. Unlike many schools you cannot change your program once admitted. You would have to apply to do an internal transfer after freshman year.
Thanks @TomSrOfBoston - great to have the option to apply to 2 on the main application.
@galtrynnacollege I also got “further review required”, and if you scroll down to the checklist you should see a new requirement added. For me, it says “mid yr/second quarter grades”, so they want my midyear grades before making a decision
@hamiltons I received my $3000 scholarship few days ago, so I think it shows up on your minerva account few days after you get accepted.
Hello, @my2caligirls ,
Yes, like TomSrofBoston said, you get considered for two programs for one application and I submitted two because I don’t really know what I want to major in. Luckily I got admitted to all four of the programs I applied to. Engineering and life science both sound intriguing. Best of luck to your daughter next year!

@TomSrOfBoston You seem very knowledgable about McGill so I’d just figured I’d ask about the different faculties. I I applied to Arts and Arts and Science. My decision for Arts is “Admitted Pending Final Results” while Arts and Science is “Further Review Required”. For Arts and Science, the only missing component is “mid year/second quarter grades”. Does that mean I won’t get a decision until they get those grades or are they simply still reviewing my application in that faculty of Arts and Science? I applied to both at the same time and I won’t have final semester 1 grades before the January 15 deadline. Sorry for the bombardment of questions, but any ideas?
Supporting documents are not due until 3/15 for US applicants.

But the sooner they are submitted the sooner you will get the second decision.
My guess is that A&S has higher minima than Arts and they are waiting to see what the applicant pool is like. I would upload the mid year report as soon as available.
@TomSrOfBoston Oh that’s a relief! Thanks so much.

If I were to submit first quarter grades as grade 12 interim grades on Minerva, would they be accepted?
@ryanwww how long did you wait for a response after uploading midtearm grades?
I submitted my first quarter grades today and I was accepted about an hour later.

I applied mid September. A couple of weeks ago my application changed to “Further Review Required” and they requested my Grade 12 interim grades. I was going to wait to send first semester grades (late January), but today I decided to upload first quarter grades instead. An hour later I checked and I had been accepted. The Faculty of Management requested my mid year grades.
@pat2442 but I am Colombian, so maybe they’ll take longer to answer (?)
I am so freaking anxious about it
