No scholarship

Just wanted to update that I received an email today awarding me the $3000 one-time entrance scholarship. :slight_smile: I posted stats above. Hopefully I’ll put in my major scholarship application by the end of the week.

@writergirl0316 Congrats!!!

Those who have been accepted, what was the last thing on your status before you got your decision? Was it “Further review required” or something else?

Thanks! And yes, it said “further review required” untiI got an email when they made a decision like two days later (and again a few days after when they added the entrance scholarship). @Resurgens

D just got an email–she has also been granted the one-time $3000 scholarship. News on the renewable one she applied for is forthcoming.

Has anyone who is not a dual citizen gotten a decision yet? As I mentioned before, got FRR on December 19th, uploaded my grades pretty much right away, and still nothing. But I am not a Canadian citizen and it seems most people who are hearing back are. Frustrating either way lol

@ShrimpBurrito so basically free tuition if she gets Quebec residency!! Congrats

Thanks @my2caligirls . Has your D heard anything yet?

@ShrimpBurrito

She is waiting for her mid year grades to get finalized and will upload them next week. Hopefully will be a quick decision once uploaded which seems to be the case for most here on CC.

I would kill for Quebec tuition…even other province tuition! Especially if my youngest son also goes to McGill in two years. :slight_smile:

D is a dual citizen who has never lived in Canada, so she is eligible for Quebec tuition. Best deal going!

@ShrimpBurrito I’m jealous. :slight_smile: Not that the international rates are a bad deal…but oh a dad can dream.

Any international students accepted?

Any international students accepted?

Nope. At least not for me.

did you guys receive an email telling you to check the portal?

Nah , but even if they dont send you an email , you have to keep checking everyday in case. they send an email to your counselor if you listed her/him as someone who can control your profile tho.

@chrys1 International (US) student accepted here. I did receive an email when they wanted my senior grades, when a decision was made, as well as when I was granted the one-time scholarship

@chrys1 Unfortunately you have to keep checking. Last year, my son decided that was going to cause him too much stress so I was the person checking it. Not sure this is a good set up for others but it worked for our household.
