Hi guys, I'm looking to apply to McGill for either the Management or Arts (International Relations) Faculty. I want to apply for the scholarships but I don't know if it's worth my time since I do not make the minimum cut off in school average. Currently, I have ~93-93.5% average in my grade 12 marks. But my marks last year was ~90-91% average. They want a MINIMUM 95% for both years. So should I just forget about it? I don't want to apply and be rejected completely because of the numbers.
I have solid depth and breadth in ECs, leadership positions, national & international-level awards, community service, etc. My SAT scores are all mid 700s.
My school is also notorious for being HIGHLY competitive (95% asian) and extreme grade deflation. I have friends from other schools who would easily get 90's and transfer here and barely scrape low 80's.
Anyways, if anyone knows anyone who's ever won these awards and what their stats were, please share :)

Where are you from? US deadline passed for university application. You still have a couple of days for the scholarships I believe. If you still have time I would try anyway? It can’t hurt.

Also, there is no International Relations at McGill. There is International Development Studies in the Arts Faculty, but that curriculum differs from many “typical” IR curriculums at other schools.

Sorry, I meant International Development. Thanks for pointing that out I applied to Arts Legacy as well. And I’m Canadian so apps are due in 2 weeks. I guess I’ll apply and hope for the best. Are you applying tkdkid?

Ah, good luck! & Yeah I’m applying. After visiting, I absolutely fell in love with the school and Montreal.
