Which one holds the greatest prestige?

Which one will be most impressive to US graduate schools?

Which one is the best for physics and engineering?

Which one is the bets for biology and health-related sciences?

Which one has the best campus and student life?

1- McGill certainly outside of Canada (and in Canada too in my opinion).
2- McGill but all three will be recognized as excellent
3- Don’t know
4- Don’t know
5- Montreal wins over Toronto any day. UBC is in the suburbs and is removed from the city. McGill & U of T are right downtown.

Prestige: I honestly don’t think it matters.

Absolutely the same to grad schools in the US.

In terms of undergrad? You won’t notice a difference.

Same as 3.

Depends upon the student. What are you looking for? UBC has skiing at the lodge at Whistler (for cheap), super cheap sailing at the sailing club…Montreal has great late night clubbing. As an aside, UBC is about 20 mins by bus to downtown, and in Vancouver, not a suburb.

-UBC is more like 45-60 minutes away from downtown by bus. By taxi/car the ride is 25-35 minutes.

-If you like the Natural culture of running in the woods, going to the beach (only September and May), snow sports. UBC is the best fit.

-UBC well known in Canada and parts of Asia. UBC is preceived as a prestigous school in Hong Kong especially. In East Coast United States, UBC is not known outside of Academic research institutions.
