I have scanned many old threads, but I cannot find a clear answer. Are the McGraw-Hill math, reading, and writing books for the SAT I any good? Amazon.com has virtually no reviews on these books, so I am unsure if these books are useful.

i found the mcgrawhill book helful for writing....it presented the grammar rules in a clear and concise fashion...it also gave practice question after each rule so it stayed in you head...i really didnt like it for anything else

I have SAT I, Reading, and Writing.

You'll have to wait though. I just got started.

Thanks for your opinion, ru4real1666. I'm most interested in the math book. Does anyone else have an opinion on it?

i like the math one..my dad broke it into sections and he thinks he can help me..lols

I was looking around Amazon and College Confidential...I think I will use Barron's for math, and McGraw-Hill for CR and writing.
