It seems like McMahon would be my top pick, as there's the dining area, one of the best dorm convenience stores, and it's co-ed (but I think almost all are). And I assume you can live in a non-clustered floor? Because a cluster doesn't seem like the most sociable of arrangements. How do I sign-up for a normal double if so?

Thankies :)

I could be wrong, but I think all McMahon is cluster style

^^^^^ what he said. Im pretty sure it’s all clusters as well. I most likely wont live in a dorm, but if i did thats where id go. Idk to me i like the cluster. Cause its like youre gaurenteed 7 friends right there. Where as in the dorms i feel like youd just be confined to your roomate(s) and maybe across the hall or next door. I heard for the most part the dorms are pretty lousy so i think mcmahon does the best of keeping some people together.

Hmm that’s actually a good point. I think I’ll stick with my decision and apply for McMahon. :)

Thanks for the replies

Are you an incoming freshman? From what I’ve heard Terry and Lander are the best dorms for freshman, but perhaps McMahon is better.

i have not heard one good thing about terry. everything ive heard is negative. its either too loud, or too boring or too many weird people etc. ive alteast heard some good things about mcmahon. nice restaruant, good location. more upperclassmen, the cluster.

Really? I’ve only heard that Terry is pretty much identical to Lander except that it doesn’t just have freshmen. I guess it depends what kind of person you talk to.

I’m so confused…pretty much everyone I talk to tells me something different.

I think it probably depends on what’s important to you. If room size/number of roommates is a big issue, choose McCarty. If you’d rather share a couple showers with 8 people rather than a whole floor, choose McMahon. If you want a really social experience and you’re okay with small rooms and being far from campus, choose Lander/Terry. Everyone’s different.

Well I’d like a really social experience. So would McMahon be a BAD choice? Or just like just not the #1 social place
