ME schools

Hello, i'm a high school junior looking for schools to apply during my senior year. I am considering going into mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering. I'm sort of leaning towards mechanical right now because of it is more general, and broader. So, I was wondering if you guys would rank these schools for me in each of the categories, if not more primarily towards mechanical. I couldn't find the specific rankings for undergrad engineering for each major.

So, Schools I am considering applying to:
Columbia University
Cornell University
Princeton University
SUNY Stony Brook
SUNY Buffalo
Polytechnic institute of NYU
Northeastern University
Boston University
Penn State - University Park
Carnegie Mellon
CUNY City College

You could look them up as easily as any of us can. Ultimately, our opinions will be no more or less biased than that of rankings such as US News or phds.org or any other ranking body.

Maybe add RPI. Some of those schools may not offer much of an Aero or Industrial program. Check their course catalogs for the types of classes offered. For instance, I am into automotive engineering and Cornell offers 2-4 classes in that area and USC offers none.

Note that just because a course is listed in the catalog doesn’t mean it is actually offered. Checking term course listings is also a good idea.
